MICHAEL DOLAN

Michael Dolan, a former Army officer, was admitted to the State Bar of Connecticut in 1996 and has been a criminal and personal injury trial lawyer since that time. He has tried a wide variety of cases in State & Federal Court, covering a full range of criminal cases including white collar crimes, drug offenses and complex criminal cases.

As a civil litigation attorney, he vigorously fights to protect the rights of people who are injured, whether in an accident, wrongful death, or worker's compensation. He has represented boards of education in general litigation and policy development, and various municipalities in property tax appeals. In addition he has represented clients in numerous appeals in both state and federal courts.

Mr. Dolan is a member of the New Haven County Bar Association, Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, Connecticut Criminal Trial Lawyers Association and National Criminal Trial Association.

He is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the Quinnipiac University School of Law and the United States Military Academy. He is a member of the County Bar Association, State Bar of Connecticut, and the Connecticut Attorneys for Criminal Justice.

In addition, Mr. Dolan serves on the Hamden Board of Education, the Board of Directors of the New Haven Road Race and as Clinic Director for Hamden Youth Hockey. He is also a member of the Board of Directors for Ring One Boxing and has represented a number of professional boxers.

MICHAEL J. LUZZI

Michael J. Luzzi graduated from Yale University in 1985 with a B.A. in Economics. While at Yale, Mr. Luzzi played both Varsity Football and Varsity Baseball, serving as baseball captain in 1985, his senior year.

Upon graduation from Yale, Mr. Luzzi moved to Detroit and worked throughout the mid-west for the General Motors Corporation. In 1991, Mike received his law degree from The University of Dayton School of Law where he earned “The Book Award” for excellence trial advocacy in his final year.

Mr. Luzzi started his legal career in New Haven where he handled plaintiff and defense work in the following areas: personal injury, workers’ compensation, criminal, real estate and municipal law. He later worked nationally handling complex toxic tort product liability litigation. He handled the preparation, submission and prosecution of all aspects of complex litigation. Mr. Luzzi prosecuted matters against major pharmaceutical corporations in State and Federal Courts across the country for individuals who suffered strokes after ingesting over-the-counter pharmaceuticals. In addition, he has represented boards of education in general litigation matters, labor negotiations, grievance proceedings and student discipline matters.

Mr. Luzzi is a licensed attorney in Connecticut and he is also is admitted to practice before several United States District Courts and is a member of the New Haven County Bar Association, Connecticut Bar Association, American Bar Association and the American Trial Lawyers Association.
